Real Destination Wedding at Hammock Beach Resort, FloridaWords by Jennifer Stein Images by Binary Flips

As the story often goes, "girl meets boy, boy falls in love with girl, girl marries boy." Now although when Shelley and Danny met, they were only in highschool, it would take until after college when they would begin dating and soon after, get hitched!
The couple was interested in an event with a "southern beach feel" so they decided a destination wedding on the shores of Florida would be just the ticket.
According to Sarah Pickar Sleeth, the couple's wedding coordinator, " they came to StyleHouse Weddings & Events requesting a destination wedding on the coast where they could spend the day in the sand, let guests share their love for Florida’s natural beauty, and have a great time."
Since the bride is a Florida Gator, there was nothing more fitting than an alligator toy to be used for the ring bearer.
Traditional elements such as lanterns and white flowers were used in the ceremony to give it a southern feel.
The reception had a more modern and elegant feel to it with the centerpieces and contrasting colors.
They also had some non-traditional details such as a photo booth for guests. Guest then could post their photos to a cork board collage.
We wish Shelley and Daniel the best of luck in the coming years and thanks to Sarah from StyleHouse Weddings for submitting the special wedding celebration with us!
