Real Destination Wedding - Dominican Republic

Having visited Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, I can attest to the friendly atmosphere and breathtaking surroundings. It's no surprise that destination bound couple, Kate and Wes chose the area for their wedding this past December.

Although, their (very talented and uber sweet) photographer, Stacey Wight recalled how hot the day was, the bride and groom didn't seem to sweat it one bit.

The ceremony was held on December 10, 2009 at the Majestic Colonial Resort in Punta Cana. Both English and Spanish were spoken during the vows and the couple opted for a sand ceremony, where Wes' sister gave a special reading indicating the significance of the act.

p>Dinner was held outdoors at the Rodeo Grill and dancing, cake and speeches happened at Parrot Bar (all located at the resort)
The following day, Kate and Wes decided to do a steamy trash-the-dress session with their photographer. After looking at these shots, the team at Destination I Do has determined that the couple should start modeling careers if they haven't already!
We thank Wes and Kate for sharing their story with us and to Stacey for sharing the stunning images!
