A French Couple Hits the Florida Beaches for This Real WeddingWords by Courtney Kellar Words by Courtney Cox

Stephanie and Nicolas are from a destination in itself, but still opted for a destination wedding in St.Pete, Florida at the Don Cesar Beach Resort. The gorgeous couple are from Lille, France and flew in relatives from all over the world to join in their big day on the beaches of Florida.
The wedding was one of classic elegance with black, white and splashes of pink. The bride brought her own style to her wedding day get-up with a beautiful ribbon accent around her arm as well as lace-up ribbon flats. Stephanie bought her gown at a boutique back home in France. Speaking of France, what would a French wedding be without a little Chanel? The accessories paid homeage to the bride's French citizenship and continued the overall chic feel of the wedding.
The couple embraced the tropical, Florida feel by showering their reception in pink. White daisy centerpieces keep the tablescape simple and clean, but still sophisticated. The cake was a picture of perfection with a large black ribbon wrap around and fondant pearls cascading over the side.
We hope the couple enjoyed the U.S. as much as we enjoyed looking through their wedding day photos. Stephanie and Nicolas did a beautiful job of letting their personality and culture shine, while still embraceing their tropical destination.
Stephanie was sure to revisit her wedding gown and pay homage to her French heritage with a visit to the Eiffel Tower. We at Destination I Do would like to say mercí to this lovely couple for sharing their big day with us!
