Jamaica Shines in This Real Wedding WednesdayWords by Courtney Kellar Words by Courtney Cox

Laura and Brian both have family all over the country, so a destination wedding was a perfect fit. If their nearest and dearest were going to have to hit the friendly skies anyways, why not jet away and do it up exotic. Sandals' Whitehouse Resort in Jamaica was the final destination and the vibrantly colored construction set a beautiful backdrop for the couple's big day.
When it came to the ceremony, the couple went with a tropical, time-honored tradition and got married sea side. Laura planned the event virtually entirely herself and kept things simple, but colorful. The location really shined for her and Brian's wedding. However, not to be outdone, Laura looked beautiful in a strapless, formfitting and jeweled bridal gown.
The couple continued the local theme even when it came to the bridesmaids' flowers. The ladies in waiting picked wildflowers for their bouquets the morning of the wedding. The reception took place indoors with intimate tastings and round tables for the guests. The stone detailing continued the natural, local feel.
The couple's closest family and friends traveled from places such as Kentucky, Ohio and the Northeast to be there on the big day. The wedding was clearly an intimate and special gathering with just 35 guests. We wish the couple all the best and thank them for sharing their wedding with us!
