Ironically, the stress of planning a destination wedding can sometimes leave brides feeling as though they just need to get away. Well if you’re in need of a weekend away, but don’t want to abandon your wedding responsibilities, we have an idea for you. The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain outside of Tucson, AZ is holding a weekend wedding event.
The Ritz-Carlton has joined forces with Couture Consulting and E Events to present “Unveiled.” The bridal event will take place October 22-23 and is being hailed as a “weekend wedding escape.” The weekend provides the bride and a guest the opportunity to mingle and mix with wedding professionals from all over the country.
Couture dress designer Ines Di Santo will be there among other vendors and wedding personalities. Over the course of the two days, guests will have the chance to meet with vendors and get behind-the-scenes tips on planning a wedding no one will soon forget. Learn how to ensure your wedding is reflective of your personality and distinctly “you.”
The cost of the event is $895 for two people for two nights and includes: accommodations, transportation from the Tucson airport, breakfast in bed on Saturday and one-of-a-kind wedding workshops. There are several workshops or sessions to choose from. Take a Spa Massage Mentoring class to learn massage techniques or a Cooking and Wine Indulgence workshop. For the nature lover there is also the option of a Mountain Bike Adventure through the Sonoran Desert.
I’ve researched the price of booking a comparable room for those two nights and $895 does seem to be a very good deal. Minus the cost of the room, it’s roughly $150 per person for the workshops. The resort itself is gorgeous and would be a wonderful wedding weekend escape!
