For a couple wanting a destination wedding, there are thousands of options when it comes to romantic venues and comprehensive wedding packages. What about those couples, however, who want a more intimate experience—just the two of them? The Westward Look Resort in Tucson, Arizona gets plenty of requests for traditional wedding packages, but also gets requests from couples wanting to elope.

In an effort to meet every couple’s needs, Westward Look Resort has recently introduced their Sweet Surprise Elopement Package in addition to their wedding and engagement specials. The elopement package provides the same level of romance as a wedding package, but with a more private atmosphere and much less planning.

The Sweet Surprise Elopement Package includes options like a private ceremony site, a five-course dinner with wine pairings prepared by a personal chef and served to the couple on their private patio, a Stargazer Suite with private hot tub, couple’s massage in-room or at the Sonoran Spa, champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, breakfast in bed and discounted rates for additional guests rooms. The package starts at $850 a night and for an additional fee the resort will also provide an officiant for the ceremony.

Westward Look Resort is nestled at the base of the stunning Santa Catalina Mountains and exudes the spirit of the Southwest while still offering modern luxury. The resort is set on 80 acres and the property includes 244 suite-sized rooms, two award-winning restaurants, a chef’s garden, the Sonoran Spa, eight tennis courts, desert hiking trails, multiple pools and on-site stables for horseback riding. In 2010, the resort was named an AAA Four Diamond Award recipient.
