Kim and Jeff were both given a second chance at love and took full advantage of the opportunity. After meeting online they dated long-distance for over a year before Jeff popped the question. Since they were accustomed to travel, a destination wedding made perfect sense.

Both the bride and groom tragically lost their first spouses and were hesitant to re-enter the dating world. Thankfully they did and a beautiful wedding in Maui, Hawaii was a result. The site of their sunset nuptials was the infamous Gannon’s Restaurant.

Kim walked down a custom-made aisle runner which featured her and her groom-to-be’s names and their wedding date. She was escorted down the aisle by her twin sons (Kim’s also a twin) to the sound of Beyonce’s version of At Last.

Kim and Jeff chose a destination wedding in Maui because of the island’s romantic history and great honeymoon accommodations. (The couple stayed at The Grand Wailea Resort and Spa.) The couple has no regrets about having a destination wedding.

“We knew we wanted a more personal and intimate location,” said Kim “I believe it provided for a more personalized and memorable wedding.”

The wedding was witnessed by 13 lucky guests who were later treated to hors d’oeuvres while the couple took sunset photos on the beach. The gorgeous couple took advantage of Hawaii’s historic sky and captured some stunning images that capture the beauty of their W-day.

Ironically, it was the couple’s shared experience of tragic loss which ultimately brought them together. The gamble to re-enter the dating world clearly paid off big. Jeff and Kim are relishing every moment they have together as man and wife. Congratulations to the lovely couple and thanks for sharing your big day with us!
