Lake Tahoe is a destination wedding location that never ceases to amaze with its beauty. It provides couples with a beach setting, but is surrounded by lush mountain top-like greenery. Meagan and Erik seem to agree as they chose Lake Tahoe for their destination wedding.
As seen in the pictures, Meagan was one lively and lovely bride. You’d be hard-pressed to find an image where she isn’t laughing or grinning from ear-to-ear. The wedding’s color palette reflected the bride’s vivacious personality with vibrant hues of blue, purple and pink. The groom and groomsmen complimented the ladies’ azure gowns with neutral tan suits.
Having an outdoor wedding always comes with a risk of bad weather and the couple was nervous as dark clouds began to roll in on W-day. However, the rain stayed away and instead the clouds only added to the magnificent backdrop.
The ceremony took place on the beach with countless boats drifting in the lake beyond. The couple said “I Do” surrounded by friends and family, five bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen. The couple is obviously head-over-heels in love and was excited to become “man and wife.”
After the ceremony, Meagan, Erik and their guests danced the night away under an enormous white tent. This destination event was a fun twist on a water-front wedding and apparently a rip-roaring good time!
