Rain Couldn't Stop This Hawaiian Destination WeddingWords by Courtney Kellar Words by Courtney Cox

It’s not hard to have a gorgeous Hawaiian destination wedding. It is difficult, however, to have yours stand out among the crowd. Kelly and Will accomplished exactly this with their Oahu wedding at Kualoa Ranch. The couple rented a home near the ranch to make getting ready and transitioning to their wedding a breeze.
Speaking of wind, W-day started off dark and rainy. However, the rain stopped in time for the big event and the misty mountains provided a stunning backdrop for Kelly and Will’s nuptials. The couple decided to see each other before the wedding so they could get their pictures out of the way. Because pictures were done before the ceremony, Kelly and Will could relax and just enjoy time with friends after their vows.
Kelly chose traditional island colors and their event was awash with vibrant oranges, reds and greens. The couple kept the island flair going with traditional Hawaiian dancing and hula to entertain guests during the reception. The weather couldn’t keep this party at bay as guests danced the night away under a romantic, white tent.
Hawaii’s lush, green vegetation combined with the dreamy weather conditions created the perfect W-day setting. Like I said before, it’s not hard to have a beautiful Hawaiian destination wedding (it’s Hawaii after all), but it takes something really special to take your wedding above and beyond. Kelly and Will did just that on the island of Oahu.
