Many brides enter the destination wedding planning process with visions of grandeur. However, whether we want to admit it to ourselves or not, everything comes at a price. There are countless budget guides out there (check ours out here), but what about the financing? It’s important to have an outline of your spending, but sometimes you simply don’t have the cash.

Thankfully, there are ways to have your cake and eat it too. The tried and true PayPal service has introduced a new “buy now, pay later” process which is perfect for brides and grooms. With Bill Me Later, you can get whatever you need now (booking your honeymoon, rings, décor etc) and receive a bill either online or in the mail shortly thereafter. As long as the bill is paid off within six months, you’ll accrue zero interest.
More than 1,000 retailers offer Bill Me Later and it can also be used with PayPal merchants too. You can apply at checkout and all that’s needed is your date of birth and the last four digits of your social security number. Soon after, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to manage your account. Bill Me Later is like a credit card and is a revolving account offered by WebBank.
Retailers who offer Bill Me Later include Zappos, Zales, QVC, Blue Nile, Gordon’s, BookIt, and Hotwire (hello, honeymoon!). The Bill Me Later service obviously isn’t limited to just brides and grooms. This might be a great suggestion on your wedding web site for guests who may be having problems financing their flight to your destination of choice. The bottom line is, financial stress shouldn’t ruin the process of planning your dream wedding away. As long as you’ll have the cash within six months, Bill Me Later is a perfect, no interest option.
