Not to sound like a broken record, but have we mentioned how awesome Carolyn, the Anti-Bride is? She’s been working herself to the bone developing, creating and launching mobile apps – all for the greater good of Mother Earth. She partnered with a fashion industry expert, Clarissa Nicosia, for her latest project GreenGlamGo.
GGG is a mobile site and smart phone application which combines eco-friendly fashion, ethical shopping and mobile technology. This app gives sustainable designers and retailers who might be a bit under the radar an opportunity to meet a broader audience. GreenGlamGo is a lifestyle and shopping space that aggregates the green community in one easy to use place.
“We wanted to create a mobile application that offers fun, green, glamorous and luxurious fashion quickly and easily – fashion that can feel as good on the inside as it looks on the outside,” says co-founder Clarissa Nicosia.
GGG’s mission is to create an eco-friendly shopping opportunity that brings responsible and sustainable fashion to the forefront. Consumers now have access to hip designers and green-brands that may not yet be able to break into the global retail space.
Users have instant access to not only green-fashion, but beauty, bridal, handmade, vintage, accessories, shoes and handbags. Some web sites who are featured include Oakandco.com and Heavyeco.com. The app lets users skim the offerings of multiple green web sites and then easily click a link to the specific site to purchase.
Interested? Get it! GreenGlamGo can be downloaded to your Nokia phone by visiting the Ovi Store. You can also check out the site at GreenGlamGo.com.
