Every destination bride wants to look and feel her best come W-day. A tropical location is often the most popular, so why not have your beauty routine reflect your island locale? Pure Fiji is a passport to paradise without having to board an international flight. South Pacific and Fiji islanders have used pure coconut oil and flower extracts for centuries and now these local ingredients are available in your very own home.
With Pure Fiji products you can have that tropical island glow whether you choose to say “I do” oceanside or in a big city. Pure Fiji offers exotic oils to sugar rubs to not only ensure you look your best, but feel your best! In addition to natural coconut oil and flower extracts, there’s also a surplus of nutrients which are essential to the good health of your skin.
Pure Fiji sent us two of the more popular lines, Starfruit scented products and the Dilo Rescue line, to try and review. Destination I Do’s Editor in Chief, Jennifer Stein, tested some Starfruit products such as the Coconut Crème Body Scrub and Hydrating Body Lotion. Pure Fiji holds special meaning for her and she was ecstatic to get to enjoy the products again.
“I spent my honeymoon on Turtle Island in Fiji and the products they had in their bures were Pure Fiji,” says Jennifer. “Every time I smell the Starfruit scent, it immediately conjures up memories of one of the most amazing times in my life. I loved the fragrance and products then, and I love them even more now.”
I tried Pure Fiji’s Dilo Rescue line which is designed to sooth irritation and inflammation and promote healing of sunburns, rashes and blemishes. A weekend in northern Arizona resulted in some pretty serious mosquito bites which I treated with the Dilo Rescue Body Gel. The product soothed the irritation and made the bites disappear quicker.
I also tried the Dilo Resue Body Butter which I used on my dry elbows and heels. Living in Arizona, dry skin is impossible to avoid, but Pure Fiji helped replenish my dry skin. The scent of the Dilo Rescue products isn’t especially fragrant, but do smell natural and organic. For more information on Pure Fiji and to order products for the big W-day visit PureFiji.com
