Mexico is no stranger to destination weddings, so when Tiffany and Jay chose to tie the knot in Riviera Maya, they knew they could count on local resources. The couple chose Excellence Riviera Cancun for the site of both their ceremony and reception. The resort has the all-inclusive features that Mexico is known for, but a unique Mediterranean-style architecture which sets it apart.
Tiffany chose a soft color pallet of white and creams which contrasted beautifully with the vibrancy of the Mexican seashore. The bouquets, which were done by the resort, were a mix of soft white roses, creamy orchids and seashells. In addition to her gorgeous bouquet, Tiffany also carried a vintage-inspired purse which belongs to her mother throughout the day.
The couple continued with simple elegance by saying “I do” in a beachfront ceremony at sunset. The wood pergola was a simple, but dramatic backdrop for their nuptials. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the couple was joined together for life.
After the touching and simple ceremony, the wedding party moved a few steps from the ocean to a private dinner complete with dancing and a mariachi band. Looking through Tiffany and Jay’s wedding day photos, it’s easy to imagine that the planning process as well as W-day went off without a hitch!
