Having a tropical destination wedding doesn’t mean you have to forgo elegance. Evelyn and Andrew prove this point with their pink Puerto Rican destination wedding. January was the perfect time for the couple and their guests to escape the winter chill with a trip to the Caribbean. After months of planning, Evelyn and Andrew pulled off their elegant wedding without a hitch.

The couple and their guests were initially nervous upon their arrival in Puerto Rico because the weather called for two straight days of rain. However, there wasn’t a drop on Evelyn and Andrew’s wedding day and they enjoyed sunny, 80 degree weather. The couple held their ceremony and reception at the El Conquistador Resort. The Waldorf Astoria resort provided a stunning backdrop for Evelyn and Andrew’s wedding and helped the entire process run smoothly.

The couple exchanged vows under a white pergola and surrounded by hanging, fragrant flowers. Beneath the shade of a giant palm tree and enjoying a fresh sea breeze is a perfect way to start your life together as man and wife. Evelyn looked elegant in a silk wedding gown with a dramatic beaded detail at her waist. There’s no questioning this couple’s love, as the newlyweds happiness jumps right out of the pictures.

The couple and their guests celebrated on one of the resort’s many terraces. The large arched pergola gave the wedding a sense of privacy and intimacy. Evelyn easily transitioned her color scheme into the reception with tall flower arrangements, linens and handing paper lanterns. A send off of sparklers capped of this Puerto Rican dream destination wedding. Congratulations to the lovely couple!
