Destination Wedding Mexico: A Clean & Simple StyleWords by Courtney Kellar Words by Courtney Cox

It goes without saying that picking the correct venue is an important aspect to your destination wedding. Your destination doesn’t always have to determine your style of venue, either. Evie and Lane’s Riviera Maya, Mexico wedding didn’t occur at a large all-inclusive resort like a lot of the weddings we see do. While there’s nothing wrong with that route, it just didn’t fit this couple’s style.
They instead opted for a boutique, Mediterranean-style hotel, Hotel Esencia. This suited the couple’s minimalistic and elegant style perfectly. The ceremony was a simple, but stunning, and occurred beachside. Evie and Lane kept things simple with a predominately white and pink color palette. As with most destination weddings, the time spent in Mexico leading up to their wedding was just as special as the big day.
The couple and their guests spent time frolicking on the beach and enjoying their time in the sun. This wedding, like so many of our weddings, proves that with your own style and input, you can make even the most popular destination your own.
