Your wedding day is an occasion where it’s imperative that your expectations are met and your dreams become reality (with the exception of those bridezillas out there). Kudos to all of our real destination wedding couples who knew what they wanted for their special day and managed to bring it to fruition. Rachel and Andrew are one such couple.
Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, the love birds wanted a beach wedding and traveled to the lovely Destin, Florida for their nuptials. If an elegant seaside theme was their aim, then consider this mission a success. With soft blues, silvers and whites – this wedding has a nautical feel without being cliché.
Rachel looked divine in a form fitting gown with detailed beading from head to toe. Andrew kept it cool and casual in a khaki suit and white dress shirt. A beach wedding often means the grooms get to opt-out of the traditional black tie ensemble.
The couple’s blue color scheme presented itself not only in the azure waters of the gulf, but in the reception details and flower arrangements. The couple rented out a house on the beach for their W-day affair. Palazzo Del Sol served as the location for both the beach ceremony and tented reception. The wedding party took advantage of the beautiful Florida weather and spent the day in the sunshine.
Congratulations to Rachel and Andrew, not only for their recent nuptials, but for taking their beach wedding dreams and turning them into reality. I’m sure your loved ones are equally thankful for getting to share your special day alongside the two of you.
