Destination Wedding Mexico: Perfect in Puerto Vallarta

When choosing to have a destination wedding, it’s important to consider the fact that it’s unlikely all of your invited guests will be willing and able to come. This is exactly the situation Sarah and Noah ran into when planning their Puerto Vallarta, Mexico wedding. The couple had to accept the fact early on that not everyone would be able to make it, but stood by their decision.

“A destination wedding seemed like less stress and we thought of it as a fun way to spend time with our family and closest friends – a once in a lifetime opportunity, really,” recalls the couple. “We wanted to do something unique and which fit us as a couple, something that our guests (and us) would never forget.” In the end, their mission was accomplished as they celebrated their marriage at Playa Fiesta in Puerto Vallarta.

There’s no doubt Sarah and Noah feel they made the right decision in sticking by their choice of a destination wedding. After all, they describe the process in four easy words, “Wonderful, perfect, easy and exciting!” To thank those who were able to make the trek, the couple sent out message-in-a-bottle “thank yous.”

The couple has some final words of advice for others considering a destination wedding, “Don’t worry about the people who cannot attend and enjoy the time you get with the ones who can come,” says Sarah. “Make sure to bring a good photographer with you to capture it all and share your day with those who couldn’t make it and relive the memories who those who could!”
