Today’s real-life wedding is a cool and refreshing seaside affair. Jennifer and Ed put together a pink and Tiffany blue destination wedding that was as beautiful as it was fun. The couple, along with their nearest and dearest, traveled to Captiva Island, Florida.
Jennifer and Ed exchanged vows overlooking the Gulf of Mexico with their color scheme reflected in the pink flowers and light blue ocean. Jennifer looked beautiful in a strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and Ed stayed beachside casual with khaki pants and white dress shirt.
The reception was held at the South Seas Island Resort and the venue’s trolley provided an entertaining mode of transport for the couple and their guests. Jennifer and Ed’s post-ceremony celebrations took place in a tent filled with beautifully decorated tables and, most importantly, a big dance floor.
Jennifer works for a company which produces Broadway shows and is a dancer herself. Therefore, it came as no surprise when the couple’s first dance was a choreographed Broadway number which included not just the newlyweds, but their bridal party and some of their guests.
Sounds like a great way to get the party started! Overall, the wedding had a playful and lighthearted feel with place cards in the form of pinwheels and adorable cupcakes in lieu of a traditional wedding cake. Congratulations to Jennifer and Ed and thanks for sharing your wonderful wedding with us!
