Destination Wedding Beauty: A Boutique Dedicated to Baby-Smooth Skin!
Words by Courtney KellarPhotos courtesy of Stript Wax Bar It can be overwhelming planning a wedding or honeymoon, so it’s important to find the time to treat yourself every once in a while. We’ve found one way which you can treat yourself and your bridesmaids in the time leading up to your destination wedding or honeymoon while also prepping for your big day: Stript Wax Bar. Founded in 2009, Stript Wax Bar is a boutique dedicated to the art of waxing. While not always fun, waxing might be something you feel necessary leading up to W-day. If so, why not get it done in as comfortable and relaxing atmosphere as possible?
The boutique is all about wax, waxing techniques and creating “baby-smooth skin.” While it’s obviously not painless, Stript Wax Bar believes they’ve come as close as you can get to pain-free waxing. If you have a hesitant bridesmaid or are looking for a different type of service, they also offer therapeutic facial treatments, paraben-free spray tanning, brow shaping and makeup consultations.
What really sets Stript Wax Bar apart is their process which takes place after you’ve been waxed and are honeymoon ready. The boutique’s “VAJACIAL” is a four-step, 50-minute process which was created to fight unwanted ingrown hairs and make your waxing last longer. The boutique’s founder, Esthetician Katherine Goldman, also created a “VAJACIAL” bar soap which you can take on your honeymoon to further extend your treatment. The bar is an antibacterial, tea-scented beauty bar which is 100% vegan. Stript Wax Bar has six locations throughout California and visit StriptWaxBar.com for more information.
