A Baja Beach Bash
Words by Courtney KellarPhotos courtesy of J. Nelson Photography Kirsten and Matthew are an L.A. couple who escaped the hustle and bustle of big city life for their destination wedding in Baja, Mexico. Along with 85 of their closest friends and family, the couple enjoyed three days of sun, surf and fruity drinks. To make things extra exciting, the couple arranged an Olympics-like competition for everyone to participate in.
It’s clear that this destination wedding has everything a wedding away is meant to: great friends, great food, a beautiful destination and quality time with those who mean the most. Kirsten and Matthew kept things casual and their fun-filled weekend was capped off with a gorgeous beach ceremony. The time of the ceremony was chosen perfectly as the couple found themselves awash with the warm light of the setting sun.
Having seen thousands of destination weddings, there’s one thing that’s perfectly clear: no two weddings are alike. All the more reason to make sure your destination wedding is exactly what you want it to be. After all, this day only comes around once in a lifetime, so make sure it’s reflective of you as a couple and something you can look back on with pride and joy in your hearts.
