Destination Wedding South Carolina: A Simple Seaside Affair
Words by Courtney KellarPhotos courtesy of Kristin Vanzant Photography Kurt and Leslie are a Tennessee couple who wanted to get away when it came time to say “I do.” It was an intimate wedding they were after and Fripp Island, South Carolina gave them the beauty and privacy they were after. Not only that, but it made travel logistics relatively simple for all their family and friends. The best of both worlds: a wedding away without the stresses of traveling too far from home.
Come W-day, the couple’s vibrant color scheme was beautifully accident my the island’s overcast sky and stormy sea. Kurt and Leslie said the destination wedding planning process was much easier than they expected. However, they’re clear to note that their wedding planner and a couple of visits to their location were instrumental in making their destination wedding dreams a reality.
“You MUST hire a local, experience wedding planner,” says Leslie. “We would have been lost without her.” The couple doesn’t regret having a destination wedding as they got the intimate experience and one-on-one time with their guests that they were after. Congratulations to Kurt and Leslie and thanks for sharing your big day with us!
