A Fun Mexican Fiesta
Words by Courtney KellarPhotos courtesy of Viera Photographics Venessa and Mike decided on a destination wedding in Tulum Beach, Mexico and never looked back. They and their guests embraced the culture south of the border and relaxed, celebrated and had a great time! Their chosen venue, Akiin Beach Club, was a special choice since it’s known for its stunning and peaceful beach – perfect for a wedding.
Their beach ceremony was highlighted by pops of orange and perfectly complimented by the natural surroundings and freshly tanned guests. Venessa was gorgeous in her strapless gown and couldn’t seem to get down the aisle fast enough to marry Mike. The men wore khaki linen suits which were ideal for the tropical, Mexican setting.
Once the couple said “I do,” the real fun began. The night was capped off with great food, fun music and lots and lots of dancing. According to the couple’s photographer, Mike and Venessa are “really cool people [who are] very down to earth and very much in love.” Judging by their destination wedding pictures, it seems this is a fair assessment!
