California: Wildly Refined
Words by Courtney KellarPhotos courtesy of Brandon Kidd Photography
Tucked away in the foothills of Silverado in Southern California, you’ll discover Rancho Las Lomas. Known for its natural beauty, the setting was the perfect backdrop for a romantic photoshoot bursting with trendy details. Largely inspired by lush gardens and wild foliage, a table setting with textured elements and coral colors really pops. This “Wildly Refined” shoot puts an earthy twist on Southern California bridal style.
1 & 4: Our bride may look demure, but she brings the drama with her low-backed “Luna” gown by Rebecca Schoneveld and “Delicate” earrings by Ariel Jennifer Taub. Her natural makeup and sweeping updo are both by PAGE Beauty. Our groom looks anxious to say “I do” in a tie by The Grunion Run and a boutonniere by Art With Nature.
2 & 5: Coral and creamy details provide the perfect pop against a vibrant, leafy backdrop. The macramé screen and low-level table are courtesy of Circa Rentals, while the tabletop rentals, such as the glassware and table settings, are courtesy of Borrowed Blu. The overflowing, vibrant floral centerpieces are crafted by Art With Nature.
3: Our bride certainly won’t fade into the background in this “Luna” gown by Rebecca Schoneveld and dramatic bouquet of blooms by Art With Nature.
6 & 8: Take a seat on a Moroccan poof or any of the comfy coral pillows surrounding this tablescape. The wood table with metal-leg details is courtesy of Circa Rentals and the glassware and tableware are courtesy of Borrowed Blu. The many floral centerpieces are by Art With Nature.
7: These down-to-earth invitations by Shindig Bespoke clearly took inspiration from the beautiful, natural surroundings at Rancho Las Lomas.
9: The “Dash” necklace and “Delicate” earrings by Ariel Jennifer Taub add a welcome touch of metallic sparkle with their gold finish and Swarovski crystal detailing.
10: Our bride sits atop a tropical throne courtesy of Circa Rentals and with vibrant floral fixtures by Art With Nature. Her “Luna” gown by Rebecca Schoneveld looks lovely draped across a frond-frosted floor.
11 & 14: Forget ladies who lunch – these beauties are toasting to love. Their bistro table and chairs are courtesy of Circa Rentals and the delicate flower centerpiece is by Art With Nature. Their hair and makeup is by PAGE Beauty. Their dresses by Rebecca Schoneveld and Joanna August, and accessories by Ariel Jennifer Taub, are well-suited for a groom in a tie from The Grunion Run and boutonniere by Art with Nature.
12: This paper suite by Shindig Bespoke embraces trendy, handwritten fonts, while incorporating earth tones and a tribute to Mother Nature’s bounty.
13 & 15: With greenery found behind and below, loosely gathered floral centerpieces with vivacious blooms, designed by Art With Nature, are a perfect complement.
