Any adventurous couple looking for the ultimate escape into the outdoors for their honeymoon should consider purchasing his and hers hiking essentials from the Swedish outdoor brand Fjällräven.
This brand offers reliable and durable outdoor gear so you can focus on building memories and not on what you're going to bring on your adventures. Fjällräven succeeds in its mission to preserve the natural world and inspire others to get outside by offering premium, sustainable outdoor gear and apparel.
Many of Fjällräven’s products are made with their very own G-1000 fabric, thought of as one of the world’s best outdoor fabrics. Made to withstand different climates throughout the world, G-1000 is also hardwearing, water resistant, windproof, breathable, offers UV protection and is mosquito safe.
Check out some of the his and hers gear pairings below and begin to prep for your honeymoon of a lifetime.
Daypack, High Coast Trail 26, $125.00
Made from Fjällräven’s G-1000 fabric, the Daypack is weather-resistant and durable due to the blend of waxed, recycled polyester and organic cotton. It is an all-around daypack for trail hikes and is equipped with compression straps, padded shoulder straps, comfortable mesh back panel, hip belt and multiple pockets to organize gear.
Trekking Jacket, Räven Jacket, $225.00
This re-launch of a classic Fjällräven jacket from the 1970s is a timeless piece that can be compared to the iconic Greenland Jacket. The jacket is made from Fjällräven’s G-1000 fabric and offers a light, foldaway hood. Other additions that set this jacket apart from the rest include a two-way zipper with a buttoned wind flap and a drawstring at the bottom hem to provide protection from the elements. When purchasing the Räven Jacket, we recommend you order a size down — they run big!

The pullover uses flat-knitted fleece on the shoulders and chest and a grid-structured fleece on the lower sleeves, sides and lower torso. It also features a high collar with half-length zipper at the front, one zippered chest pocket and cuffs with inside thumb loops to prevent the sleeves from riding up.

They feature high abrasion-resistant reinforcements at the knees and seat for extra protection against rough terrain and brush. The men’s version offers a fixed waistband an zippered fly for a slim, trouser-like appearance. The women’s version offers a wide, comfortable waistband with an interior draw cord adjustment and an exterior security pocket.

It is equipped with a snow lock, an inner pocket with a padded bottom for a laptop, a removable seat pad and a pocket that holds a thermos. Its natural tone leather makes it ageless and its design that provides one large front pocket, side pockets, and a top lid held in place by straps attached to the front makes it a perfect option for almost any activity or adventure.
