The Taste the Love package at The Confidante at Miami Beach, Florida is the perfect escape for anyone who loves food. This three-night getaway is both an adventure for you and your taste buds, featuring unique experiences such as a celebrity-chef guided farmer’s market tour and cooking class as well as a spa treatment with a tasty twist.
You will be enamored when you first arrive, as you are welcomed by Champagne and fresh baked red velvet cookies and a small batch of chocolates curated by South Florida Chef Richard Hales, the chef behind the hotel’s new Southern eatery, Bird & Bone restaurant.
That isn’t the end of the excitement on the first day. You will then participate in a private cocktail class from the resort’s mixologist where you will get a look behind the scenes of what goes into the drinks at Nina’s House, the resort's newest restored 1930s-era bungalow.
During your three-day tour led by your taste buds, you will experience the local farmer’s market with Chef Richard Hales and his wife, Jenny Hales. The ingredients you find at the farmer’s market will guide the private cooking class you will have with the chef following the farmer’s market tour.
You will then enjoy the meal they made in a private, candlelit cabana. You will have gathered the knowledge on how to create a perfect, romantic meal and get to have your cake and eat it too.
One morning, you will take a break from your culinary escapades and trade in your fork for a yoga mat. Led by the celebrity trainer couple, Christopher and Tracie Vlaun, you will have a private beach yoga and mediation class from V Art of Wellness. Of course, the Taste of Love package doesn’t disappoint, as you will then head to a rooftop spa which will come with a culinary twist.
Ending the evening at an Asian-American restaurant and treated to the culinary creations by ‘Top Chef” alum Dale Talde, you will have a romantic dinner and cocktails. While the food is the star of this show, the unique vibe of the restaurant ties it all together. Step into a speak-easy right off the corner of an Asian street market. You won’t soon forget the unique experience, especially since it will be commemorated by a signed copy of Dale Talde’s Asian-American cookbook.
To end the perfect escape, you will sip Champagne and nibble on strawberries while taking in the stunning Miami sunset on your suite’s private terrace. An experience your taste buds aren’t soon to forget, with memories that will last a lifetime.
For this delectable vacation, the Taste the Love package is priced at $5,000 per couple. For more information regarding reservations, call 305-424-1234 or visit theconfidantehotel.com.
