Although Bridal Fashion week looked different this year, with most shows and collection reveals happening virtually, designers still brought their A-game, rolling out stunning, innovative and chic gowns. We know finding the perfect dress that also fits the time of year and location of your destination wedding is no easy task. So, we have taken the liberty of dividing our favorite looks of this year’s Bridal Fashion week into six types of destinations: tropical, mountain/lake, desert, wine country, cityscape and garden party. Below the photos are a few tidbits about the designers included in this article and their ideas and inspiration behind their new collections.

Madeline Gardner, Designer and Creative Director of Morilee, fully recognized the retrained beauty of designing dresses that have simple clean architectural lines. Every Intricate detail is executed with precision and passion making this collection truly special. These timeless yet contemporary styles are an ode to her real brides who were asking for just that. Gardner’s customers are her ultimate muses who inspire to create gowns just as unique as they are. This was the true catalyst of creating ‘The Other White Dress’ collection.

Leanne Marshall‘s Autumn/Winter 2021 Bridal collection brings romantic elegance with a hint of edge. The full collection consists of gowns, separates, capes, sleeved and sleeveless gowns.

Lihi Hod introduces her new collection, “White Blossom”; a creation of infinite love, innocence and powerful emotions. Hod’s new collection features magnificent pieces; stunning gowns with flowing, classic silhouettes and romantic details. The collection images show magical atmospheres of lavish flowers and greenery to enhance the gowns’ primary beauty.

The way a bride moves in her dress as she twirls around the dance floor is unforgettable. It’s her moment to express her happiness and excitement. Galia Lahav‘s FW 2021 bridal collection was inspired by that freedom of expression through dance and movement. Named after the song “Dancing Queen” by ABBA from Mamma Mia!, the first musical Galia Lahav’s head designer Sharon Sever listened to while away at college, this collection is an homage to a woman’s artistic heart, independent spirit, and freedom to make her own choices in the way she represents herself.

Dan Jones couldn’t wait to present this collection to you in person at New York Bridal Fashion Week, but the globe had other plans. Now, Jones revealed his 2021 Collection, shot on location at the breathtaking Maslin Beach in South Australia, sacred aboriginal land that is part of the Onkaparinga Council…it also happens to be Australia’s first nude beach. The Australian fashion designer fuses luxe fabrics, shape defining silhouettes and exquisite craftsmanship. His sophisticated styles steer away from traditional bridal aesthetics.

From the team at BHLDN: “As we look ahead to 2021, we’ve also taken a moment to reflect on 2020,” says Lori Conley, BHLDN General Merchandise Manager. “We’ve heard from countless brides-to-be who have responded to uncertainty and disappointment with incredible resilience, taking a change in plans as an opportunity to honor their love stories with intimate, unconventional, and deeply personal celebrations. Our Spring 2021 gowns are inspired by these remarkable brides. Filled with versatile silhouettes, emotive details, and only-at-BHLDN designs, our newest collection invites the bride to celebrate her wedding, her way.”

With so many ways to take your wedding day look, remember that your final choice should bring out your personality, flatter your figure and celebrate your type of destination. Happy wedding dress shopping!
