Italy is easily one of the most beautiful countries on earth so it comes as no surprise that it is a popular destination wedding spot.
As you can see from the pictures, Emma and Sean’s Sorrento wedding was a sight to behold. It’s hard to believe that a place as gorgeous as the coastal city of Sorrento can exist outside of a Bond movie or perfume ad, but it does.
This couple’s wedding was the epitome of class and elegance, rife with personal touches despite the distance from home.
The couple created a sophisticated atmosphere with a reoccurring theme of pearls in their decorations and on their hand made stationary.
But just because their wedding was refined, it doesn’t mean Emma and Sean weren’t afraid to have fun with their décor. The couple’s pets served as major inspiration, photographs of them were placed on each table and served as table names.
The couple encourages other destination I-doer’s to embrace the traditions and cultures of their locations.
“We drank limoncello and prosecco and enjoyed a traditional Italian meal,” the couple said.
“Our strawberry Italian wedding cake was the best we have ever tasted!”
It is common for destination couples to stress over their wedding plans, but for Emma and Sean it was a relaxing experience.
“Its amazing planning a wedding from afar because it’s such a lovely experience watching all of your plans come together,” the couple said.
