True Love in Lake Tahoe

Endless summers spent on Lake Tahoe creating treasured memories with family, inspired Diane to marry the love of her life, Danny, in the breathtaking mountain town. Excited to spend a couple days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Diane felt a destination wedding was essential in allowing guests to fully enjoy the people and their surroundings.

A destination wedding in Tahoe meant the couple had to be prepared for any unexpected weather. Backup plans were fundamental and Diane and Danny ensured they were ready for anything. “Luckily, we had a variety of interesting weather on our wedding day…from slight rain during our outdoor beach ceremony and a gorgeous rainbow and sunset to a full moon the night of the wedding and a perfectly clear day the next day for the beach and brunch!” recalls Diane.
Planning the event was a wonderful experience for the couple. With plenty of amazing recommendations, the couple put their trust in vendors, with faith they would do a great job. They couldn't have been more happy with the outcome. With a destination wedding, Diane and Danny felt it necessary to plan three days of activities since that was the amount of time most of their guests were staying. They wanted to provide the best possible experience for their dedicated travelers in a place so close to their hearts.
Diane owes much of her inspiration and planning ideas to Pinterest. With Pinterest, she was able to send pictures to vendors, describing the look and concept she was going for. Diane explains Pinterest and amazing vendors were all she needed to plan the perfect day. “I truly believe if you hire good vendors, you don’t have to give much direction. I believed in the quality and work of my vendors and I called them the week of the wedding just to confirm we were all set. There were no issues and everything turned out better than I could have imagined!” says the bride.
With the magnificent backdrop of the lake against the mountains, the wedding was a stunning affair. Friends and family agreed the best decision the couple made was to have their event in Lake Tahoe. “My advice would be to enjoy the day and focus on your spouse, spending time with the people attending the wedding – it goes by so quickly. It is a rare occasion to have all the people you love and know in your life in one place at one time,” Diane remarks.
