This romantic outdoor destination wedding had the perfect amount of elegance and charm for this D.C. couple.

“We live in D.C. which is a great city, but we wanted more of an outside wedding with a natural feel,” says the bride. “We also wanted the wedding to feel more like a family/friend vacation, so we thought Charleston was a perfect choice.”

The destination wedding allowed for the couple to spend quality time with each guest rather than just one day.

“We heard nothing but positive reactions from our guests,” says Tina. “Most of them took extra time to tack on a vacation to their trip, and many were able to spend the entire week before the wedding with us at the beach.” Some of the guests struggled to find reasonably priced plane tickets, but everything worked out and the guests were able to enjoy the time off with the couple in beautiful South Carolina.

Brian and Tina’s outdoor wedding was gorgeous and will be a wonderful lifetime memory!

The bride’s advice: “Just have fun and focus on what’s important: starting your life with someone you love and celebrating that with your friends and family! We planned very quickly and had a short engagement, which actually made it easier to not worry about the small things. The way we figured it, the longer you give yourself to plan, the more time it will take. We also tried as hard as possible to keep it cheap and easy for our wedding party so that we didn’t add any extra stressors to their lives. It should be a fun celebration, from the moment he proposes to the moment you say I do!”
