Creating your registry can be one of the more stressful aspects of gearing up for W-Day, but it doesn’t have to be! Online registries are flourishing and save you the trouble of having to wade through thousands of options across multiple stores in person. It also makes shopping quick and convenient for your guests…there’s no need to leave the house! We were recently introduced to Blueprint Registry and were immediately struck by the site’s fresh approach to registering for your wedding or honeymoon. Much like you might register by department in a store, you can register by each room of your house on Blueprint.
Add or delete rooms and spaces in your home and simply shop room by room, making your way through your house and creating a dream space. There are details for every area from your foyer, to your bonus room and backyard patio. You also have the option of registering for “experience” items by allowing guests to contribute to your home fund, honeymoon fund or a favorite charity. The site is free for both couples and guests and has compiled the top, on-trend home décor items from big, design favorites like Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel and West Elm. You can also make shopping easier on your guests by marking different items as "favorites," "for him," "for her" or "perfect for group gifting."
Is something missing? Not to worry, you can also add custom items to your Blueprint Registry directly from your web browser. After you’ve said “I do” or are back from your honeymoon abroad, you’ll receive a complementary “summary report” from Blueprint Registry outlining everything you received and instructions for any returns etc. Because you can shop by room or style, Blueprint takes the overwhelming process of registering and makes it a fun, digital and interactive experience.
