How do you find the perfect Caribbean location for your wedding? According to Rebecca Grinnals, expert consultant to the wedding industry and the Cayman Islands - a little advance research will ensure that you find the perfect location for your island nuptials:
Does it offer the type of experience you have dreamed about? Every island is different and offers something unique – beyond just sun, sea and sand – find out all your ceremony options in advance.
What can local service providers offer you? Do you want to bring everything in or can the island providers help you achieve your dream wedding?

Avoid Surprises – Destination-bound brides often go to their destination sight-unseen. Ask to see RECENT wedding photographs of real couples (not just glossy marketing shots) in the settings.
Think Unique – Are there historic locations with meaningful significance, architecture that makes for a dramatic wedding backdrop, hidden gardens that offer magical settings, or villas private and spacious enough to handle your intimate group, etc? Do the same for entertainers, cuisine, favors and traditions!
Relax, but still get it in writing – Many destinations work on ‘island-time’ which is charming but can be frustrating to a busy bride-to-be with many plans on her plate. Be sure to get everything in writing and double confirm things before you get there so there are no unnecessary surprises..
With these considerations in mind, start exploring the options ranging from the ultimate in undiscovered splendor to the luxury of world-renowned resorts.
