United at Last Wedding PackageWords by Courtney Kellar
In celebration of the legalization of same-sex marriage in the U.S., the Casa Marina and The Reach, Waldorf-Astoria Resorts in Key West, Florida are offering a “United at Last” package for same-sex couples. Known as one of the friendliest and most accepting cities in the U.S., Key West is also a beautiful place for a destination wedding. In fact, Key West was named the second most “gay-friendly” destination in America in a survey by Travel Industry of America. If you are considering saying “I do” in Key West, either the Casa Marina or The Reach would make beautiful options.
The “United at Last” package includes a complimentary suite upgrade for the newly united couple, a personalized welcome amenity and turndown service with a bottle of Champagne and chocoloate-covered strawberries. The package also includes matching HHonors Points for any event revenue, which can be used towards the honeymoon or other travels. You can also access specially priced packages for rehearsal dinners and guest send-offs. The package is available through December 31, 2015, and the packages start at $2,500.
