A Sweet Sayulita, Mexico Wedding
Words by Kinsley BrownPhotos courtesy of Jillian Mitchell Photography Camille and Djamel had all the mainstream reasons for wanting a destination wedding: more time with their guests, a vacation-like atmosphere and a unique experience. Luckily for them, their wedding was anything but commonplace. Sayulita has become a popular destination, and seeing how beautiful the weddings are, it appears it’s for good reason.
The couple was joined by 70 of their nearest and dearest to say “Sí” overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Camille and Djamel embraced their festive destination by having a vibrant color palette made up of bright pinks, oranges and yellows. The couple got most of their ideas from other weddings they had attended, but tweaked each idea to fit their unique destination.
Their guests got to enjoy everything Mexico had to offer with beautiful weather, entertainment and delicious food. Camille and Djamel organized a zip-line tour, sailing expedition, sunset dinner cruise, horseback riding and beach bonfire for their guests. At the wedding, everyone was treated to a live Mariachi band, authentic Mexican tacos and churros for dessert.
We see countless Mexican destination weddings, but there are two things that made this one stand out: vibrant cultural details and a terrific guest experience. Camille and Djamel definitely achieved all they wanted and more for their dream destination wedding!
