When choosing the perfect destination for their wedding, Jennifer and Dean knew they couldn’t pick anywhere else other than the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. The couple’s wedding in the “Jewel of the Desert” made the bride’s dreams come true.
“I’ve always known that I wanted to get married at the Biltmore,” says Jennifer. “I first visited the Arizona Biltmore to accompany my dad to a medical conference that happened to be held at the Biltmore when I was eight years old. During our stay, we saw a beautifully decorated event being set up on the lawn behind the hotel. We watched as the finishing touches were added to complete the most picture-perfect wedding. I thought it was the most beautiful event, and I told my dad that one day I’d like to get married there.”
The bride’s dreams came true when the couple traveled to the Grand Canyon State to get married. The couple doesn’t think it would have been possible if not for their wedding planner. “If I had to plan a wedding on my own, I don’t think I would have been able to pull off a destination wedding,” says Jennifer. “I was so fortunate to be able to work with Victoria Canada and her amazing team! She would arrange periodic phone calls where we would make sure we were on the same page and she was able to put me in touch with vendors who understood the type of event that we wanted.”
Happy with the overall price, destination and location of their dream wedding in a venue that had special memories associated with it, the lovely couple knew it wouldn’t have been the same anywhere else.
We asked the bride to share any advice for couples thinking of planning their own destination wedding. “If you are thinking about having a destination wedding, seriously consider hiring a wedding planner,” she says. “Do some research to make sure that you find a planner who has great reviews. Although hiring a wedding planner may seem like an unnecessary expense at first, it is worth every penny spent. Planners will save you time and stress, while making sure that the event runs as seamlessly as possible.”
