Give the Gift of Sound
Words by Jennifer SteinPhotos courtesy of Divoom
As an avid lover of music, I’m regularly on the pursuit of the best sound gadgets available. My first set of high-end speakers was purchased when I was only 13 years old, so you can consider me a bit of a “sound snob.”

Up until I was sent the Divoom Airbeat-10, the only quality wireless speaker I’d found was by Bose and cost about $500. All others, particularly the lower priced models, had that “alarm clock” hollow sound with zero bass and the louder you turned them up, the worse they sounded.
I was handed this small (albeit heavy) speaker in bright red, and immediately surmised that it would be just like the rest simply based on its kitschy packaging and cool look (those are often the worst ones!). I charged it, plugged it into my iPhone, selected a song from my iTunes I knew would show its lack of quality and turned it up. Straight away I was surprised with the sound it delivered. It was as good as my Bose $500 wireless speaker!
Even better, this adorable red speaker (about the same size as an orange) was splash resistant, making it perfect for outdoor use, totally wireless (which my Bose is not) and came with two adapters, one for my bicycle and a suction cup for flat surfaces. It also doesn’t require Bluetooth as it has an audio adapter, so you’re able to use it with all sorts of products.
It comes in four colors – black, red, bright blue and white and sells for only $29.90, making it the perfect gift for the music loving groom, bride, groomsmen, bridesmaid or anyone else you might want to give this to. If I were you, I’d buy it for myself…I mean it is all about that bass, bout that bass…no treble.
