Great Golf Destinations for the Groom

In my circle of friends, the guys I know are completely excited about any possible golf trip they can successfully gain permission to attend. On that note, I offer a bit of advice for you ladies; any golf trip your man wants to attend which does not involve a wild trip to a golf and gambling destination without you, is most likely a good one to grant. That is why an area known as WaterColor, located about 30 minutes south of Destin, Florida situated along the Northwestern Florida Gulf Coast, is an awesome choice for an unforgettable bachelor party.
Fairways:

The golf is almost too good to be true within a short distance of the beachfront WaterColor Inn & Resort. First, the top rated Tom Fazio designed Camp Creek Golf Club boasts a secluded, one-with-nature type golf experience, and features fantasy-like playing corridors framed by massive, white sand bunkers. Conversely, the Greg Norman designed Sharks Tooth Golf Club offers a traditional, tree-lined, country club style golf course that provides a different look for those playing a few rounds. If you still need more golf, the resort also includes a quirky short course designed by PGA tour player Davis Love III. The Origins Course is a six-hole regulation course that plays as a nine-hole executive course and a ten-hole par 3 layout with the use of alternate tee boxes and auxiliary greens.
Fins:
Golf and fly-fishing go hand-in-hand these days at many top golf retreats. There are strong similarities in the joy and frustration of playing golf as there are in fly-fishing, and it seems the two activities lure the same type of person. Therefore, if the boys like to fish, WaterColor is going to be a real eye-opener. The resort offers professionally guided, fly-fishing expeditions, from as little as a few hours to intense, two-day schools. If you choose to head out on the waters, one can easily catch abundant Louisiana Redfish, ranging from 8 to 20 pounds. For those more versed and lucky anglers, you could haul in 100 plus pound Tarpons, and according to the guides, get ready for one heck-of-a fish fight.
Good Fortune:
When you experience a stay at WaterColor Resort, there is no other possible way to feel other than appreciative of your good fortune of being there. With that said, perhaps the best part of the resort is on the accommodation side, where numerous options for comfort, fun and camaraderie await. If my group of friends were heading to WaterColor, we would book our stay in one of the numerous luxury residences available complete with flat screen TV’s, pool tables, fire pits, and barbeque. With all of the above close-at-hand, WaterColor undoubtedly has the makings of a golf and fishing trip the guys will never forget!
