It’s day one of our Destination: Greece week and we’re looking forward to five days’ worth of gorgeous Grecian resorts, fashion inspiration and real weddings! Whether you’re considering Greece for your destination wedding or honeymoon, there’s going to be planning involved. Today’s Destination: X post is dedicated to providing you with the resources you’ll need to plan your dream event or trip to this European paradise.

Below, you’ll find local resources that are a great jumping-off point to make sure you’re aware of the logistics involved. We’re also sharing past articles from our own site that are dedicated to the destination and information about some luxury properties in Mykonos and Santorini that both cater to destination wedding and honeymoon couples.

Greece Wedding & Honeymoon Resources

Planning your wedding or honeymoon from afar can seem like a daunting task. It can be hard to know where to start, so we’re helping by sharing must-visit websites for couples considering Greece. Here at DID, we’re firm believers in doing plenty of research ahead of your travel. Research will ensure you know exactly what to expect and will have all your Grecian ducks in a row.

Destination I Do “Hearts” Greece

As you may already know, we don’t include any destination or property in our magazine that someone from our team hasn’t personally visited. We haven’t covered/visited Greece nearly as much as we would have liked, but we have featured this infamous romantic destination a few times:

Luxury Mykonos & Santorini Properties

Greece has countless gorgeous, romantic destinations, but two major standouts are Mykonos and Santorini. If you’re considering one or both of these locations for your destination wedding or honeymoon, we’ve found a luxury hotel brand that caters to couples. Katikies Resorts & Club has seven romantic properties in Greece, most of which offer bonus amenities to couples celebrating a special occasion. Katikies Mykonos (opening in June) and Kirini Mykonos boast their own chapels on property and six out of the seven Katikies properties have a dedicated “honeymoon suite.”

Katikies Resorts & Club can also give you a leg-up on finding your wedding vendors. They partner with two local wedding vendors – event planners Stella and Moscha and wedding photographer Miltos Karaiskakis. For more information on these luxury Mykonos and Santorini properties, visit katikies.com.

Stay tuned the rest of this week for the continuation of our Destination: Greece series. We’ll be sharing industry experts’ tips for saying “I do” in Greece, travel experts’ helpful to-do’s for traveling throughout the country, a beautiful real-life destination wedding and elopement, and Grecian fashion inspiration.
