Honeymoon Must-Have Clothing ItemsWords by Lauren Ertl
When prepping for your honeymoon, how much effort should you put into planning your outfits? In my experience, I didn’t want to think about any more planning in any capacity. Truthfully, destination wedding planning, while exciting, can exhaust you into not wanting to put thought into your honeymoon packing list. That’s why I wanted to write this “Must-Have Honeymoon Apparel” article to guide you in the right direction for fully enjoying your honeymoon in cute, comfy outfits that take little planning.
The first item up is the much needed, strapless bra. If you’re anything like me, the idea of wearing a strapless bra that actually functions as well as a regular bra seems laughable. We ladies need our support from our brassieres! That’s why I became interested in Brassybra. It’s a disposable adhesive breast tape that lifts, shapes and supports to give the effect of a strapless bra without the annoyance of it slipping down to your abdomen. (You know what I’m talking about.) This innovative breast tape comes in different shapes and sizes to help you solve any honeymoon fashion dilemmas.
Next up, are three separate pieces of clothing that, in my opinion, are honeymoon packing non-negotiables:
ISLAND IN THE SUN RED FLORAL PRINT MIDI DRESS from BLUSH MARK
A midi/floor-length floral dress is a versatile item to pack as it can be worn with flip flops for a casual dinner on the beach or dressed up with heels for a fine dining experience with your new honey. If you’re going somewhere that could get chilly at night, make sure to pack your favorite cute sweater to throw on, if needed.
IN SPIRIT BLACK MINI DRESS from BLUSH MARK
3. Ladies, if you decide to take any of my advice, take this: bring a pool/spa coverup dress. This was something I wore multiple times on my honeymoon in Belize. Throw it on over your swimsuit and you’re ready to make your journey to the pool. You’ll look super cute for a little bit, plus you won’t have to dirty your cute shorts you were planning to wear later.
Overall, remember that your new spouse thinks you’re crazy attractive no matter what, and these suggestions are simply for you to feel cute and comfortable while you live it up on your honeymoon!
