New: Our Fall 2014 Issue!Words by Courtney Kellar
It’s hard to believe, but it’s that time again – time for a new issue of Destination I Do! Much like a kid on Christmas morning, we look forward to the launch date of a new issue with feverish excitement. After months of hard work, worldwide travels and countless creative adventures, we introduce our Fall/Winter 2014 issue! Here at DID, we pride ourselves on bringing our readers the freshest real weddings, most happening of destinations and helpful advice galore! Not to toot our own horn, but we think this might just be the best issue yet!
Our Fall 2014 cover features a shot from the Fashion Forward photo shoot: Mad About Malachite. A true labor of love, this fashion spread was inspired by the vibrant colors of Costa Rica and was captured by the talented Laura Grier of Beautiful Day Photography. We pulled out all the stops for a romantic, tropical-inspired soiree to tempt any warm-weather bride. With the help of an amazing team of wedding industry powerhouses such as Brian Worley of YourBash! and Aimee Monihan from Tropical Occasions, this Fashion Forward feature is 10 pages of “wow.” Check out our behind-the-scenes video to see the team in action!
For the romantic traveler at heart, our Honeymoon Hideaways is as epic as ever with features on Dubai, Peru, Germany and Paris. From the glittering sands of Dubai, to the expansive Amazon River in Peru, there’s a destination to suit any newlywed couple. Looking for the upmost in luxury with privacy to boot? Check out our Luxe Living: Villa Style section to discover how you can turn your destination wedding into the high-end opportunity of a lifetime. Looking to stay close to home? Our By Land or By Sea feature explores what the U.S. has to offer from coast to coast.
In addition to featured destinations, you’ll also find etiquette advice, must-have registry items for your new home, even more fashion inspiration with our Modern Romance photo shoot, and destination-inspired cocktails which will highlight your chosen locale. Last, but certainly not least, are the ever-crowd-pleasing Real-Life Weddings. We’ve got seven gorgeous and inspiring destination weddings from across the globe. One couple overcame Mother Nature in São Paolo, while another battled the weather in British Columbia. Our other couples each brought their own, unique flair to destinations like Maui, Big Sur, Los Cabos, Santa Margarita and Panama City Beach.
