Paradise could easily be defined as the place every bride and groom dream of when they plan their wedding and honeymoon. The ultimate destination to fulfill this dream is the resort of the Atlantis on Paradise Island, Bahamas. From the moment you arrive at The Atlantis, you will discover a perfect setting for your paradise adventure with breathtaking oceanfront views, a complete water experience, and activities for both day and night.
The Atlantis offers wedding packages for 50 to 500 guests, allowing you to select from more than 20 wedding venues and a variety of wedding packages.  Each site offers unique surroundings with breathtaking views. The Royal Overlook has views of several pools and lagoons, lush gardens, and of course, the majestic ocean. The Flying Fish Knoll is located in the gardens near the babbling brook and overlooking the Royal Towers. The Cave Bar & Grill provides both spectacular ocean vistas and a close-up underwater view of the marine habitat, including the underwater ruins of the Atlantis.
Perhaps you prefer a wedding on the beach, where the shoreline and the sunset seem to meet. Whether your wedding is casual or elegant and formal, the wedding coordinators promise to help you create an unforgettable day. They will coordinate and organize your entire wedding ceremony and reception. Social services director, Albertha Edgecombe, the will tell you their no. one core value is to ‘blow away the customer.’
As you and your groom are preparing for your wedding in paradise, you may choose to be pampered at the Mandara Spa. The spa offers exotic scrubs, seaweed wraps, facials and Swedish massage. Family and friends who have traveled to share in your wedding have many activities to choose from. The Atlantis offers a complete water experience with more than 200 species and 50,000 sea animals, including sharks, manta rays and moray eels. There are 13 swimming pools, a Lazy River ride for tubing and water slides, including the Leap of Faith, a slide with a six-story vertical drop. Of course, the ocean and white sand beaches are just steps away. Families will want to explore the Dolphin Cay, an 11-acre lagoon, where you can swim with the dolphins in their environment.
You and your guests can visit the Marina Village for a shopping expedition, where you can explore the shops and boutiques that offer Caribbean culture and treasures to bring home. The Marina has beautiful luxury yachts to admire, as well as catamaran sails, powerboat joyrides, and deep-sea fishing opportunities.
Evenings at the Atlantis begin with world-class restaurants and celebrated chefs. The Atlantis features 20 restaurants and 22 bars and lounges to choose from, with a variety of cuisines. After dinner, you and your guests can head over to the Atlantis Casino, dance at one of the nightclubs, take in a live headliner at the comedy club, or catch a movie at the Atlantis Theatre. Perhaps the most enjoyable ending for your day is a walk along the beautiful beach paradise.
