1. Doonbeg, Ireland

This quaint piece of coastline in County Clare, Ireland plays home to The Lodge at Doonbeg, a resort which feels more like an ancient manor home filled with old friends than an up-and-coming five-star resort. The tiny village is convenient to the area’s main attractions, like the Cliffs of Moher, and boasts the Doonbeg Golf Club which has been named one of the top 100 courses in the World.
