Your destination wedding and honeymoon will be two of the most important events of your life. Naturally, you will want to capture as many memories and pictures as possible. Wedding hashtags have become very popular in order to track and enjoy your guests’ photos of your wedding on social media platforms like Instagram, but there isn’t a good way to save those images away for yourself. Enter Bevy, an in-home device designed to save, organize and protect all your photos and videos in one place.

With the rise of digital photography and everyone having a camera (their phone), it’s hard to save all of your family and friends’ images. You can use external hard drives or USB sticks, but those quickly pile up. Bevy uses Intel Inside technology to save all of your photos and videos in one place. Simply plug the device in at home to automatically save your new images and videos. It also has outlets for memory cards, USB sticks and more, so that you can easily transfer old photos on to your Bevy. The next step is to download the Bevy mobile app on to your phone. Once your Bevy is plugged in, create a four-digit family pin. This will allow anyone with the pin and Bevy app to upload their photos to your device. For example, have your maid of honor quickly and easily upload her photos from your bridal shower or bachelorette weekend – straight from her phone via the Bevy app and your Wi-Fi connection. You can also upload photos without a Wi-Fi connection using cellular data.

One of the best features of Bevy is that you can access your photos from anywhere in the world. This means there’s no need to use tons of space on your phone for your favorite photos. Simply add them to the Bevy app and they will be there whenever you want to see or share them. Another great feature is that you can set your Bevy app to automatically upload new photos from your phone whenever you’re connected to your Wi-Fi. This means you never have to remember to back-up your photos. However, when I had this setting turned on with my iPhone 5S, I noticed that my phone’s battery drained a lot quicker. I turned off the automatic upload feature and my battery life went back to normal and I simply manually upload my new photos via the mobile app.

Another awesome feature is that when uploading thousands of existing and old images to your Bevy for safekeeping, it retains your existing folders and organization. There is also an HDMI outlet on the Bevy so that you can share and search through your images on your TV. You can also share an image from within your Bevy app easily via text, email or save it directly to your device.

Bevy supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi connections to allow for maximum speed of upload. It also comes in two sizes: 1TB storage capacity or 2TB. The 1TB Bevy can hold approximately 400 thousand high-res images and the 2TB option can hold up to a million photos! The Bevy comes in purple, black and blue and can be purchased for $349 (1TB) or $429 (2TB). There’s no better time to start your family photo collection than with your wedding or honeymoon!
