Mondays can be rough, so we figured there’s no better way to kick off the work week than with a beautiful, inspiring photo shoot! A group of talented vendors joined forces with the breathtaking venue Encuentro Guadalupe, an Antiresort in Ensenada, Mexico, to create a unique and fun mock-wedding ceremony and reception.

Inspired by the desert terrain, Catherine of CBS Lifestylist and Tam of Isari Flower Studio, created an event which enhanced the natural surroundings while bringing in pops of bright, Mexican colors. “There was no question that we would incorporate the ethnic Navajo prints to accompany succulents, textual blooms, pods and vibrant flowers,” says Catherine. Thankfully, the modern and earthy Encuentro Guadalupe made for a perfect backdrop where desert met sky and inspiration met reality.

To take the design to the next level, those involved “imagined what a modern, easy-going, yet wildly sophisticated couple would wear, eat and drink to celebrate their wedding.” What sold us on sharing this photo shoot are the bright colors, unique fabrics and varying textures. While the venue is quite modern, bold choices in décor and florals quickly turned this into a reception any guest would be thrilled to attend.
