Our resident style expert, Julie Sabatino of The Stylish Bride, is back again this month for some inside tips and tricks on destination wedding or honeymoon fashion. It’s wedding season, so there’s a strong possibility you’ll be attending a destination wedding or two yourself this summer. Julie has offered up some potential outfits depending on the destination and/or formality of the event. For more information about Julie, visit thestylishbride.com.

Bermuda: Casual

Something about Bermuda makes us want to wear bright colors! A destination wedding that takes place on an island location like Bermuda is likely to have a more casual dress code. Here, we’ve paired a bright emerald jersey dress that’s both comfortable and appropriate for the occasion with gold accessories and a punchy little clutch to add even more festive colors to the look.

Product information: Dress, Michael Kors, shoes, Jimmy Choo, clutch, Jason Wu, bracelet, Vaubel Designs and earrings, Ippolita.

Napa: Semi-Formal

For a wedding among the vineyards in Napa Valley, you’re likely to see a semi-formal dress code, so you’ll want to look glamorous but slightly relaxed. We’d pair this floaty, feminine gown with wedges and a leather clutch for a touch of casual edge. We love a major statement piece like this necklace, but make sure to keep your other jewelry minimal.

Product information: Dress, Gucci, shoes, Jimmy Choo, necklace, Shourouk, earrings, Ippolita and clutch, Bottega Veneta.

Hamptons: Black-Tie

Attending a Hamptons wedding calls for your black-tie best: fashionable and elegant. This cocktail length gown is neutral and pretty, but the luxurious satin and dramatic shoulder are fitting for a formal event. To show off the asymmetrical neckline, we’d skip a necklace but add dangly earrings and an oversized cocktail ring. Sparkly sandals and a metallic bag are the perfect finishing touches to this monochromatic ensemble.

Product information: Dress, Lanvin, shoes, Jimmy Choo, clutch, Charlotte Olympia, earrings, Alexis Bittar and ring, Alexis Bittar.

About Julie: Julie has been a staple in the wedding industry for over ten years and entered the business after planning her own wedding. What was meant to be a fun experience, shopping for her wedding dress, quickly became an overwhelming and stressful process. While lots of family attempted to weigh-in, what Julie really wanted was professional guidance. Thus, The Stylish Bride was born. Julie started the business to help brides find that most perfect of wedding dresses. Over the years, the business has grown to include everything from the bride’s dress and accessories, to engagement party attire, the rehearsal dinner dress, the attire for MOB and MOG and the wedding party. Tune in on the third Monday of every month for the latest and greatest in destination wedding and honeymoon fashion courtesy of Julie. For more about Julie and her style ideas, visit her blog.
