Not all products react well with my skin. Name it, I’ve tried it – from pore reducers and anti-wrinkle treatments to face masks and even laser treatments, all with one goal in mind – to get beautiful skin. Unfortunately for me, I don’t have great skin, so when a new product emerges or we get yet another press release promising that this product will work wonders, I’m always a skeptic.

Every now and again, I stumble upon something that I really fall in love with and actually becomes part of my routine. Amala Purify Collection fell into this category.

One thing I loved from the start were the natural ingredients. If there is one thing I’ve learned about having sensitive skin, it is you can’t use harsh chemicals or you can actually make your problems worse.

The Purifying Gel Cleanser, Purifying Gel Moisturizer and finally Purifying Mattifier were the items I was sent to try. All three get rave reviews and one actually made the cut to my daily routine – the Purifying Mattifier. What I love about it is the smell and that the size of my pores are actually smaller as a result of using it. The best part of the Mattifier is that it truly does help reduce shine. After only a few days I actually noticed a difference! Although the price tag is $48 for a bottle, it goes a long way, so the investment is reasonable. For those of you who are prone to acne, none of the products clogged my pores or gave me a break out.

When it comes time to walk down the aisle, there are few things more important than having flawless, glowing skin – well, one thing is definitely more important – saying “I do” to the love of your life!
