As avid travelers and people who are constantly on the hunt for the best way to explore the world with style and ease, we’re bringing you a few products that will do just that. No matter if you’re honeymooning or jetting off to your destination wedding, stocking up on these items will get you going, gracefully.
Lay Flat Makeup Bag
Any woman with a makeup bag knows how hard it can be to travel with your beauty products. They fall to the bottom of the bag and you’re forced to either totally unpack them onto your hotel counter or rummage through your bag to try and find your eye shadow. The Lay/N/Go COSMO cosmetic bag allows for you to expand the bag to lay flat, giving you the ability to see all your items when you need them. Once you’re finished applying your make-up, you simply pull the cord and it folds up to a handy tote. It has one small, zippered pouch for jewelry and a raised lip to keep your brushes from rolling away. The bag is machine washable and retails for $34.99.
Portable Travel Safe
Heading to the pool or beach with your cellphone and cash always leaves you feeling a little vulnerable. Getting your phone wet or having your cash and valuables stolen is no way to enjoy your vacation. SafeGo offers the peace of mind of storing your important items in a safe, reliable way. This portable safe with key and combination can lock to your beach chair, umbrella or just about anywhere. It’s large enough to fit a cell phone, sunglasses, camera and wallet, yet small enough to tuck into your beach bag. I used mine on our last vacation and it worked like a charm. $39.95
Miramar Leather Backpack
The backpack is back and this one by Parker Clay might be my favorite one on the market. Partly because of its stylish, minimalist design, but also because it goes with pretty much anything. It can be used for travel and everyday use. The Miramar leather backpack fits a laptop and many other items, despite its thin appearance. The leather is buttery soft and the zippers glide seamlessly. The $188 price tag is well worth the quality.
Packing Cubes
As a clothes rolling super packer, I didn’t really see the point of the packing cube…until I gave them a trial run on my last trip. Mumi sent over a mixture of sizes ranging from small to large and a couple shoe bags as well. I gave them a whirl on a trip to NYC where I had to switch hotels four times in five days. Immediately, I became a firm believer. Being able to pack outfits together and return them to their cubes after being worn not only kept me organized, but it helped me avoid having to unpack and repack multiple times. I will forever be using the packing cube for travel and especially Mumi as they provide style, durability, lightweight design and easy sliding zippers for a seamless packing experience. Sets range from $14 to $122.
