Between rustic-themed weddings and British royalty fever, headpieces and hats have been rapidly growing in popularity for formal occasions. We’ve found one brand which appeals not only to us at DID, but, we think, to most destination wedding brides. Katie Burley Millinery recently launched on to the popular scene, but in reality this talented designer has been in the business for more than 15 years.  Before getting into fashion, Katie was a floral designer and brings that expertise and nature’s natural beauty into every piece she creates.

Each headpiece is made by hand using only the finest silks, lace and both new and vintage millinery flowers. Some pieces also incorporate Swarovski crystals, Czech glass beads, freshwater pearls and other semi-precious stones. Consider a headpiece either for your entire wedding day, or perhaps in lieu of a veil during your reception. Katie Burley Millinery’s headpieces are available on her website, etsy.com/shop/katieburley and Happy Shopping!
