Traditional, soft wedding color palettes are as popular as ever, but for this Fall/Winter issue we wanted to celebrate a bold alternative. “Midnight Garden” is for the destination couple who isn’t afraid of color, getting a little moody (at least when it comes to décor) and wants to make a memorable floral statement. While dramatic and deep-hued florals were at the heart of this photo shoot design, they were complemented by edgy details in inky and dusty shades. This talented vendor team added depth to the concept with elements such as an Edison bulb installation, hand-died silk ribbons and carefully curated furnishings. We hope this dramatic, jewel-toned wedding inspiration will prompt you to take a unique path when it comes to your own destination wedding design.

& 2: Our joyous couple is ready to say “I do” at the beautiful Rancho Las Lomas in Orange County, California. The bride’s bountiful bouquet is the perfect complement to the ceremony site’s dramatic, floral-draped gate, both of which were designed by Precious & Blooming. Determined not to be outdone by the stunning florals, our bride opted for bold hair and makeup by PAGE Beauty. She’s wearing the “Dale” dress from Azazie and the “Emily” hairpiece by Ariel Jennifer Taub. Our groom is wearing a boutonniere by Precious & Blooming.

Choosing the right furnishings for your destination wedding events can be incredibly impactful when it comes to executing a theme.

A dramatic stationery suite can set the stage for your event and this moody collection from The Paper Mint Press does just that. The on-trend calligraphy is by Red Letter Day and it’s all framed by lovely, hand-died silk ribbons courtesy of A Good Affair.

For this modern, edgy concept, Found Vintage Rentals provided the dining table and chairs, as well as the sofa, coffee table and accessories for this welcoming seating area. With a dramatic light installation illuminating the scene, our reception tablescape needed to be worthy of the attention. Borrowed BLU provided the layered tablescape elements and Precious & Blooming designed the floral centerpieces and hanging greenery. The uber-cool hanging light installation is courtesy of Elevated Pulse Productions.

Only an out-of-the-box custom cake design would do for this unique and daring wedding. This gold leaf confection is courtesy of Cakes by Colin.

The gorgeous bouquet design didn’t stop with our bride. Her bridesmaids were also treated to colorful, organic blooms by Precious & Blooming wrapped in silk, hand-died ribbons courtesy of A Good Affair. Our bridesmaids are in the “Cora” and “Hillary” dresses by Azazie in Cabernet and the bride is wearing the “Dale” dress by Azazie.

Our bride’s loose, fishtail braid and deep shade of lipstick are an ode to her organic, colorful bouquet by Precious & Blooming. Her hair and makeup by PAGE Beauty are accented by the “Emily” hairpiece by Ariel Jennifer Taub. The “Dale” dress by Azazie is the perfect choice for a dreamy, garden wedding.

The breathtaking Rancho Las Lomas in Orange County, California served as the backdrop for our “Midnight Garden” photo shoot.

The golden rams are courtesy of A Good Affair. The Paper Mint Press created the menu cards and table numbers in thunderous shades of purple and gray. The table itself is courtesy of Found Vintage Rentals and the colorful napkins from Wildflower Linen complete the look.

, 12 & 13: Between his striking bride and this gorgeous reception set-up, our groom has plenty to smile about. He’s wearing a boutonniere created by Precious & Blooming. No wedding is complete without a beautiful bar and these vintage crystal goblets from Borrowed BLU are the perfect accoutrement. Pretty cocktail in hand, this tablescape will be a welcome sight. The table and chairs are courtesy of Found Vintage Rentals, the centerpieces are by Precious & Blooming, the hanging light installation is courtesy of Elevated Pulse Productions and the tablescape details are all courtesy of Borrowed BLU.

It’s that time – time to say “I do,” and this antique gate at Rancho Las Lomas provides the perfect backdrop. It’s decorated with a climbing floral display by Precious & Blooming. Our bridesmaids are lovely in the “Cora” and “Hillary” dresses in Cabernet from Azazie. All of the ladies’ hair and makeup is by PAGE Beauty and their bouquets are courtesy of Precious & Blooming.
