Say “Goodbye” to Puffy Eyes

Tired eyes are something I’m intimately familiar with being a “momprenuer.” Nothing can make you look less refreshed than puffy, dehydrated eyes. Brides also know a bit about this as destination wedding planning and the excitement of the big day can impact quality rest.

Nothing can magically replace proper hydration and adequate sleep, but there are a few products on the market that can give you a boost in the right direction.

Patchology Energizing Eye Patches does just that. Granted, it didn’t remove wrinkles or make me look as if I’d just gotten Botox injections like some of the amazon.com reviews claim, but I did feel it gave my eyes a good pick-me-up. The skin around my eyes felt smoother and suppler after just one use.

The patches are a bit messy and cumbersome to apply. When you pull them from the plastic backing they are adhered to, they are clearly marked “right” or “left” so it leaves little room for error. There is an activating gel that is to be applied to help the patches stay in place and give you maximum hydration. During my first use, I found the gel created a bit of a mess, so make sure you have a sink handy for washing up.

Once the 20 minutes was up, I gently peeled the patches off and put them back in the pouch for my next use. The wipes they provide are gentle and allow for easy cleanup. One pair of patches is supposed to last up to four times, so an investment of $75 for 12 total treatments is more than affordable. Visit patchology.com to learn more about these patches and the brand’s other skincare offerings!
