There’s no denying things have been a bit crazy lately in the good ol’ USA. But, if you’re reading this post or picking up a copy of Destination I Do magazine, then you’re lucky – you have something worth celebrating. It could be an impending destination wedding, designing your dream honeymoon or just planning the perfect romantic getaway with your sweetheart. When life gives you lemons, immerse yourself in wedding planning! Thankfully, we’re here to help with 124 pages of Destination I Do – our Spring 2017 issue! Our editors and contributing writers traveled to over 35 destinations the world-over to bring you the latest and greatest wedding or honeymoon escapes.

Once you’ve picked up the new issue and before you get down to the nitty-gritty details within, you’ll be faced with our latest cover. Our Spring 2017 cover features a shot from the Fashion Forward feature, “Modern Meets Tropical: A Marriage Made in Malibu.” Our bride and her sunny California setting are a match made in photoshoot heaven. She’s ready for “I do” in the “Kimberly Long” dress by Joanna August, “Margot” veil by Elisha Caplan and “Fringed Crescent Earrings” by Noonday Collection. Her updo and ethereal makeup is by Mobile Bridal Salon. Her W-Day look is complete with a minimalistic, tropical bouquet by Flower Duet. The talented Sanaz Photography took the image and we would like to extend a special thanks to Be Inspired PR and GATHER Events.

If you’re looking to stay stateside without settling, be sure to check out our Cross Country Chic and Expect the Unexpected features including destinations ranging from Charleston and Chicago to Fort Lauderdale and Laguna Beach. If you’re looking to escape from the daily melodrama and hit the open water, be sure to check out our Next Generation of Cruising feature, which highlights ultra-luxe sails to Costa Rica, Greece and the Mekong River. Are you still unsure what you want to do for your destination wedding and honeymoon? We’ve proposed a one-two-punch itinerary with our Marry Here, Honeymoon There feature including the incomparable London and Venice.

For couples looking to experience the honeymoon of their dreams and trip of a lifetime, check out our Honeymoon Hideaways department for itineraries highlighting Bali, Fiji and the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary. Or, for the truly intrepid travelers, The Honeymoonist is back to share her expert tips and “Secrets of Cambodia.” If you want your “I do’s” to be at the forefront of destination wedding trends, then you must consider hosting an exciting event beyond just W-Day. In our Guest Book department you will discover how to “Rock Out Your Rehearsal Dinner and Other Ideas for Pre and Post-Wedding Events.”

This post is meant to grant you a preview of the latest issue, but we couldn’t sign-off without mentioning your – and our – favorite section: Real-Life Weddings. Prepare to be inspired by a Cabo wedding set in a seaside villa, a Lake Tahoe white-hued wedding, a Maui marriage heavy on the details, a rural French soirée, European-inspired nuptials in Miami, a touching tale in Antigua & Barbuda and a Maui event with an olive twist.

Of course, this is just a sampling of what you’ll find between the glossy covers of our Spring 2017 issue. To get the whole scoop, be sure to pick up a copy at your local Barnes & NobleTargetSafeway, some of the U.S.’s major airports and select newsstands. Can’t wait? Visit our website to order your issue today and we’ll deliver it straight to your doorstep!

As always, we at Destination I Do would like to take a moment to thank each and every person who helped to make this new issue what it is! From our real wedding couples, to the talented photographers and creative contributors, thanks for helping us to continue to inspire destination wedding couples and romantic travelers the world over! Cheers to spring and Happy Planning!
